Maybelline Hyper Sharp Eyeliner Review

I know it's been a while, my life is kinda busy and getting interesting day by day ^.^ sorry to keep everyone waiting on makeup reviews. I do have a few backlogs which I am suppose to post up , voluntarily and non sponsored or request review.

I received an email hoping we can work out on this review
~Maybelline Hyper Sharp Line~

I used it quite sometimes ago, but it wouldn't hurt to review it officially~
The New Maybelline HyperSharpLiner

The old packaging use to look like this and it comes with a box :x
While the new one comes with just wrapper, which I find it eco- friendly

This liner comes in two colors : BLACK & BROWN

The most attractive thing about this liner is it's sharp tip!
Can create up to 0.5mm thin line~

See such fine lines~
I wasn't really sure about the BROWN liner though....
I can feel thick texture coming out from the black liner but the brown liner just felt like very watery ink. And it's very light too.

Time to test it on babeh face~
This is an eye without eyeliner~
*I had a shooting earlier that day so I only remove one eye to test this out*

PERFECT FAKE LASH STROKE!!! Super black +1

And it proves that brown is a no go on me. I tried creating fake lash strokes on my bottom lashes. No go.
Too light , maybe maybelline should change something with the formula but if you are a fan of super light liner this is a good one.

For those who followed my page and blog, you will know that I am a cosplayer.
I always do funky makeups and methods that daily makeup wouldn't adapt.
Here is a fun photo of my testing tattoo style doodling and fake double eyelid line.
Black is definitely a winner!
I would buy it again for my cosplay use and it's cheap & affordable for students as well.

So let's wrap up what I think about this liner in general :

Pros:
Both liner is cheap and easy to get in drugstores or supermarket.

Both liner can create super thin lines which is suitable for daily makeup.
Black Liner is vibrant, thick and bold..
Liners are easy to be remove and apply.
Waterproof.

Doesn't Smudge.

Cons :
Brown liner is too light compare to other brown eyeliner in the market.

Liner doesn't stay well on people with oily eyelids.

I have been using the Hyper Sharp Liner since the 1st ver~
It's definitely one of the most affordable and bold liners in the market.

Maybank Go Ahead Challenge 2014

Thanks to Maybank and Manoah, I was invited to join a very exciting launch last week @ Pavillion, GSC.

Maybank had a very special program that goes on every year and this program have been going on for the 3rd year!

This program is Malaysia Go Ahead Challenge!It is an exciting international business case competition offers the brightest young minds from Malaysia, ASEAN and across the globe the opportunity to exhibit their potential in a multi-discipline and multi-national initiative with world-class experience, specially designed and organised by a truly regional financial services provider, Maybank.

Nora, the Group Chief  Human Capital Officer highlighted "This is the first student competition in the region, we know of, that tests participants in multiple disciplines, where others focus on one like marketing, or stock-broking, or finance. The Maybank GO Ahead. Challenge combines multi-disciplines reflecting how we do business, bringing the whole Bank to the customer."

To describe this program, it is a competition of both Amazing Race and Apprentice add together.

They have exciting challenges (hmmm my type of challenges) such as running around the city trying to find their destination and many mores.

They even have hands-on reality experience challenges, which is making a corporate proposal, business planning, real life on the spot debating and so on.

Sounds fun right?!

This competition provides a chance to young ambitious entrepreneurs who wants a taste of success and want to learn how to do so.

MGAC provides a platform for challenges to communicate and learn how the real world is.

All finalist gets to join the company, Maybank after the challenge. It also offers the finalist a chance to join a fast pass to Maybank's marquee Graduate Entry level programme, the Global Maybank Apprentice Programme or GMAP.

Everybody gets a prize! Nobody's gonna get left behind :)

I will consider joining but I am still in my 1st year of  university studies. I think I will join when I am in Internship :P

Future Music Festival Asia 2014 - All Hail EDM

To star off! I am really excited with FMFA being able to held in Malaysia!!

No long ago, I've become a follower of EDM, hoping I could go to UMF (Ultra Music Festival Asia) that is held in Miami for 3 Nights.

My friend told me about this concert and I just really wanna get my hands of one of the ticket!!

However my luck did not retain very long... I was pickpocketed during the show and lost my gadgets I took photos with.
I am however no harm and god bless me!
So the following photos will be credited to my fellows blogger that went to FMFA together!!

I was very lucky! To have the awesome chance of going to FMFA with ASAHI!

1st stop grab some beers before the show!!
I actually secretly asked for 3 beers each day~ haha

The moment where everyone gathers together for music, it's just unforgettable!
I made some friends from Australia! They are so nice!!

Its breathe taking when I saw the screen....I just went into tears.
All my dreams of being in a EDM party ;_; thank you dear god, thank you!

The biggest hit would be

Everyone EDM fans will definitely want to go for SURE!

To be frank the reason I went to FMFA is because of this Duo

KNIFE PARTY

I've been a die hard fan since I heard of their mix - Rage Valley

I missed their performances in all 3 days. I feel really sad and hope that they will eventually come back ;w;

  

The party lasted all night long! It was a brand new experience for me. Having friends who are EDM fanatics, constantly poisoning me with rave party. I finally went one!
I love the environment I love the show I love the lights and everything!

Overall thank you god and Asahi for giving me the awesome experience!
I really had a blast!!!

Koji Eyelash Curler

: Review :

 I have not been using much eyelash curler because I have really straight and HARD lashes. But I do own a eyelash curler from Brand E.

Brand E is coated stainless steel which makes it rust over some times. The material is not durable and get bent easily.

KOJI, have the perfect curve that fits just right for our eyes and long enough to curl all the lashes without have to curl each section separately. The large curve enables our eyelash to spread out like a peacock's tail, creating perfectly curved eyelash.

It comes with a casing, replacement rubbers as well.

DOLLYWINK EYELINER * BEST SELLER

: Review :

DollyWink have the cutest packaging of all.

There are two types of Eyeliner : Liquid and Pencil.

Pencil comes with a patterned cap while liquid comes with a normal cap.

Both are awesome and easy to apply.

Just keep in mine that these eyeliner dries quickly, be sure to screw it tight after using , or else it will dry up real fast.

They comes in promo pack during the promotion period and CHEAPER.

Dolly Wink Eyeshadow

The pigmentation is awesome!! My most favorite and most convenient eyeshadow of all! No.1 is my choice.

No.1 can create very natural down to earth look

No. 2 is sweet innocent look

No. 3 is a cool smokey eye look!
I was suppose to upload a tutorial on these 3 looks but I lost my memory cards due to an incident. Thats why I have not been able to post any post processed photos /cry blood

Dolly Wink Eyebrow Kit

: Review :

The eyebrow kit are really natural and soft, but can create very Japan-ish look without a problem. 

It's highly recommended to use it with Dolly Wink eyebrow pencils!

Although it's eyebrow powder but it stays very long :)

Why do I say the eyebrow powder is recommended to use with these pencil?

The pencil are very light and long lasting, it is good to be use as a eyebrow shape marker. Draw your desired eyebrow shape and fill it in with the powder gives you the best effect you can get.

Below is an example of using the both lightest shade of eyebrow pencil and powder together.
